Teh, the mascot

Privacy

Short version: your chat stays yours. Here is exactly what happens to it.

Updated 11 October 2026

The stats are counted on your phone

Message counts, who texts first, reply times, late-night shares: all of that is worked out in your browser. Your chat file is not uploaded for it.

The report is written from the messages, once

To write the report, Teh reads the messages. Before that, phone, bank and IC numbers, one-time codes, links, emails and @handles are stripped out.

The messages go over an encrypted connection to the AI model, on zero-data-retention routing: the model provider does not store them and does not train on them. We do not store the chat either.

What we keep

Your email, the kind of chat it was, the report language, and the report itself: its headline, the stats, and the text, including the few messages it quotes.

The report stays at its link until you delete it. Tap “Delete this report” at the bottom of the report page, or email hello@spilltheteh.com.

Your email

Used to send you the report link and, if you leave before unlocking, one reminder. No newsletters, nothing sold or shared.

Nobody in the chat is told

Exporting a chat is a built-in WhatsApp feature and sends no notification to anyone. Teh never messages anyone.

Ads measurement

We use the Meta pixel to see whether our ads work. It sees that a page was visited, never your chat or your report.
